We are available to give presentations to your organization or for your organization to use our presentations as entertainment presentations for fund-raising. Contact us to work out the details.
We have a choice of three presentations entitled: - "Arctic Adventures: Kayaking and Hiking on Remote Ellesmere Island”
- "Kayaking and Trekking the Thule Region of Greenland”
- “Vacationing in the Arctic Regions of North America: A Guide to travel, Lodging, Food, and Culture."
These are one-hour multi-media presentations of our 20 years of Artic travel and adventures. The first covers a soul-moving kayak and hiking trip to Ellesmere Island. It is some 700 miles from the North Pole, has fantastic glaciers that calve icebergs into the Greenland Sea with cannon-like booms, still has the remains of the huts of ancient Artic peoples, and is the playground of a huge walrus herd. The second presentation tells the story of a kayak and hiking trip to the highest latitudes of Greenland, which features videotape footage of interviews with the Thule people, paddling in leads in the pack ice, icebergs caught turning bottom-side up as they melt, and Arctic animals caught in the natural high Arctic splendor. The third presentation is travel oriented, presenting vacationing information, including transportation, geography and geology of the Arctic, and Inuit history, art, people, and stories.
